NBSC, 52ND ENGINEER BRIGADE PRESENT DATA VALIDATION RESULTS TO PARTNER LGUS
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), in partnership with the 52nd Engineer Brigade of the Philippine Army, successfully conducted a series of data validation presentations with key local government units (LGUs) from December 7 to 11, 2025. The sessions were held in Kapalong, Davao del Norte; Makilala, North Cotabato; and Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte, as part of the College’s research-extension initiative assessing community perceptions of Army-led development projects.
The validation highlighted consolidated findings on community satisfaction with the 52nd Engineer Brigade’s projects, particularly school building construction and road-opening initiatives in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas. The presentations also covered the trust ratings of the participating communities toward the battalions responsible for project implementation, alongside partner agencies and LGUs.
Local officials actively participated in the discussions, confirming the accuracy of the findings and offering contextual feedback that further strengthened the study’s conclusions. Their engagement underscored the value of collaborative, evidence-based assessments in enhancing project planning and ensuring that development programs genuinely respond to community needs.
NBSC expresses its heartfelt gratitude to SUC President I, Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, for her unwavering support of the institution’s research and extension efforts. The College also acknowledges the leadership and guidance of Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the support of Mr. Benzar S. Grepon, MIT, Officer-in-Charge of the Chief Administrative Office (CAO), whose coordination greatly contributed to the success of the validation activities.
The validated data will inform the final project report and guide future policy recommendations. NBSC remains committed to strengthening its partnerships with the Philippine Army, national agencies, and local government units in advancing sustainable and community-centered development initiatives.
